>> Foundating and Developing:

G.T.S.C. is a family controlled company, Mr. Maen Rifai Jandali, and his son in law Mr. Mufleh Jandali established it in 1986, Under the name of General Trade Service Center, Mr. Ali Rifai Jandali Mr. Maen's son joined the company later.

In 1997 G.T.S.C. became the first Syrian member in ASTA ( American Spice Trade Association ) with the sponsorship of Messrs. ( McCormick Global Ingredients ) and Mr. Stephen Bermingham from Polytrade International, Inc. and G.T.S.C. is proud of being the first supplier of Cumin seeds to USA market.

In the early of 2001 we built our new facility for cleaning and grinding spices, which is considered the first in Syria in this field, and this was enrolled under our quality control strategy.

In July, 2003, G.T.S.C. opened a new office and purchasing shop in Dubai, which is considered a big step in it's strategy plan to become more effective and international.

Depending on the distinguished location of Syria, G.T.S.C. achieved strong business ties with esteemed spice traders, food processors and manufacturers, spice houses, throughout the world, from North America to Far East Asia, and it has now more than 350 clients in the world.

G.T.S.C. story is a story of successful, for a company started to export one container of Cumin seed and now it exports around 1500 containers annually, which is considered as a big number in the world of spices.

Depending on the vision of the founders, G.T.S.C. esablished strong lasting relationships with international importers, brokers, wholesalers and manufacturers, from the five continents, and the key to this success is made of the following:

1. Developing a strategic vision and business mission.
2. Implementing and executing the strategy.
3. Keeping strict attention to quality control.
4. Supplying well-cleaned materials and good packing according to our customer’s specification.
5. Delivering the goods in time, with paying respect for the time of all parties.
6. Giving a superlative standard of service for our current and potential customers, by using daily effective communications, including the electronic and the latest ways of communication.

>> Locations:

G.T.S.C. head office is located in Homs city the center of Syria. this office is fully modernized equipped with all usual communications facilities, of 400 sq. mt. , and all export documentation's and communications works are done in this office, where the main body of GTSC’s staff is working.

Our facility is contrcuted on 5000 sq. mt. , with total covered area of around 3500 sq. mt. including three cleaning lines, and grinding line, and two stores and two big rooms for fumigation. Now we are planning to have a new plan of 20000 sq. mt. size in the near futur.

Beside the head office and the facility we have six shops where we purchase the raw materials in the area of spices and grains.

>> Human Resources:

GTSC’s staff is highly qualified and experienced professionals staff, includes engineers, technitions, workers and it’s distributed between the head office and the factory and the three purchasing shops.
